What to tell us
Share the pickup and delivery addresses, the size of the home or apartment, your ideal date, and anything unusual such as a piano, a hot tub, or a third-floor walk-up with no elevator.
If you already have a sense of whether packing help is wanted, say so up front. If you are not sure, describe the rooms that worry you most and we can talk through what makes sense.
How we build the estimate
Local jobs are estimated from crew size and hours based on your inventory and the access at both addresses. Long-distance jobs are estimated from expected weight and mileage, then confirmed on a certified scale once the truck is loaded.
Larger homes and any commercial job get a walk-through, in person or on a video call. A smaller apartment can often be priced from a written inventory instead, once you list out the major pieces.
When to reach out
For an end-of-month or summer move, three to four weeks ahead is a comfortable window. Mid-month dates in the spring or fall can sometimes be booked with just a week's notice.
Buildings along Sonoma Boulevard and other apartment corridors sometimes need elevator bookings made well ahead of the move, so mention your building as soon as you know the date.
Questions before you book
People often ask whether we can move a single piece of furniture, help load a storage unit, or handle just the unloading of a truck that already arrived. All three come up regularly on our schedule most weeks.
We are also happy to talk through elevator bookings, HOA moving rules in American Canyon, or what happens if the forecast calls for rain on your date.
A short call or a written message with your dates and rough inventory is usually enough for a first pass at pricing, and we can refine it once a walk-through confirms the details.
If your move touches more than one North Bay town, say from a Vallejo apartment to a house in Fairfield, mention both addresses up front so the whole route gets planned rather than just the pickup end.
