What this service covers
If you have rented a truck, ordered a portable container, or already have a storage unit reserved, we send movers to do the lifting, wrapping, and building of the load without providing the vehicle.
This suits families who want to save on truck rental fees by driving themselves, or anyone whose out-of-state movers only handle the driving and leave the loading to a local crew.
Why a properly built load matters
A truck loaded without a plan wastes space, shifts on the road, and can arrive with cracked lamp shades and dented boxes. We build the load heaviest items first, distribute weight evenly, and use furniture pads and straps the way a full-service move would.
For long-distance drives, especially across the bridges out of Vallejo and onto the interstate, a load that will not shift matters even more than it does for a short trip across town.
Unloading is just as common
Plenty of calls come from the other direction: a rental truck has arrived from out of state and the family just wants it emptied quickly and correctly. We bring the same dollies and wrapping materials to protect floors and furniture on the way in as we would on the way out.
Storage unit runs are a regular part of this work too, whether that means moving boxes into a unit near the Vallejo waterfront or clearing one out entirely before a lease ends.
Booking a labor-only job
Tell us the size of the truck or container, roughly how much needs to move, and whether the address has stairs, a long carry, or limited parking. That is enough for us to send the right number of people and give you a time estimate up front.
This kind of job also works well for a single heavy item, such as a sectional sofa or a refrigerator, when the rest of a move has already been handled by friends or family and only the awkward pieces are left.
